Mine felt uncomfortably tight last week 🙁
We all have those times.
We can all put on weight (even when eating healthily and exercising)
Often it’s down to getting a bit sloppy over portion size.
Other reasons can be eating out too much, moving less, drinking too much booze on a more frequent basis, or rewarding yourself with food ‘treats’.
Or it may be an underlying health problem ( make sure you get checked out with your physician).
Portion size is often the cause.
Eat too much that your body doesn’t burn off & yes you will put on weight.
Portion size is soooo important.
How do you measure what you’re eating then?
Guess? Weigh it? Use cups?
Plate (like mine)?
Use an app like My fitness Pal?
Or a mixture of the above?
An easy guide is to think about:
A protein portion being the size of the palm of your hand.
A carbohydate portion is about the size of your cupped hand.
Healthy fats- about the size of your thumb.
Super healthy greens – try to incorporate them at every meal-pile them on, aim for about the size of your fist.
