You can increase the number (reps) of each exercise to make it harder.
Just an increase of 2 or 3 will make it harder.
Or increase the weight you use – go up a kilo.
Think about the muscles you’re using as you’re doing the exercise and slow it down (mind to muscle connection).
This might sound silly but try it-it really does work. I use this for my leg exercises and I can really feel the difference.
Think about how you’re doing the exercise- try and do it textbook.
It’s amazing what a difference this makes, as we all get lazy and our bodies will find the path of least resistance.
Train your mate – you’ll really find you concetrate on the exercises and it’s harder.
Plus it’s good fun and you can have a laugh whilst working hard of course.
Shorten your rest period by 10 seconds.
Let me know how you get on.
