You don’t need to specifically work them every time you train.
Honestly.
Depends on what workouts you do of course.
If you workout with some free weights – dumbells for instance
Your core will naturally be activated to stabilise your body.
I met an american lady last year who had fantastic abs.
They were miles better than mine.
She never does seperate ab workouts.
I do specific ab workouts at the end of my routines about once a week.
And mine are work in progress.
What you eat plays a huge part in shaping your middle (probably more than the exercises you’re doing).
Eating more healthily can improve your general health, help you to ‘look leaner’ , regulate your hormones (here’s a great online resource to get them to behave) and give you more energy.
