I began using my little boys trampoline to warm up
Then I used a ‘step’ (wooden) in the garden.
This was great when it was dry outside, but when it rained I began to skid on the wood and I just knew if I carried on using it, I would probably break something!!
So I bought a cheap step, that packs away easily which is really useful.
I found a skipping rope in the garden as well, which is great for warming up and you can do it inside, so no slipping outside!
I bought a kettle bell as I was wondering round doing my food shop the other day – I think it was £7.99 from Lidl.
Then I ve added some weights that you can make up yourself.
You can join them up to make a bar.
An exercise ball (still in the box) and some resistance bands and a medicine ball, which I have used.
It doesn’t take up that much room either.
I ve got mine slung in the understair cupboard – it’s great to have handy if you can’t make it to the gym, or don’t want to train in a gym.
You don’t need equipment as you can use your own body weight to get fitter and more toned.
BUT having a few items can really help you in a number of ways, like intensifying your routine, burning more fat, sculpting your muscles ,challenging and motivating yourself.
I couldn’t have worked out at home without having a great healthy eating plan to follow as well.
