Sometimes it’s hard to find the motivation to exercise.
You may be tired, feel like you’re working all hours so don’t have time, or maybe you’re bored by your current workout.
Or you could be completely new to exercise and just at a total loss of where to start.
But no one ever regretted working out (unless you’re ill or injured of course).
Here’s some tips to get you moving;
1. Buy some new workout gear
2. Choose the type of exercise that you want to do – that makes you feel good & smile (maybe after as you may not feel like smiling during !). Is it just Pilates, or combine with other workouts like Pilates & walking, so you get the benefits from both.
Pilates will compliment any other sport, or activity that you do – you may choose Pilates & cycling, Pilates & dancing, the list goes on !
3. Create a new playlist with Beaty music 🎵 if you’re exercising to improve your heart health.
( it makes you work harder & you forgot how hard you’re working!)
4. Make time to workout by getting it in your diary
5. Talk to your partner/ friends about it
6. Get someone to work out with you ( don’t spend all your time chatting though 😉)
7. Set a realistic goal /s (if you’re new start with 1-2 sessions per week and slowly build up)
8. Plan your workout beforehand- a 20/30 minute workout can be as good as a longer session
9. If you don’t know how/ where to start think about a couple of personal training sessions to get you going, or pick a new workout each week from the ladies club
10. If you’re a newbie, start moving more – begin by walking , even 10 minutes a day will make a difference.
11. Start eating more healthily- it will boost your hormones & energy levels, make you feel so much better & help to change your shape.
12. Don’t try to do everything at once – more chance of sticking with it then
