Get your blitzer-throw 6-8 strawberries in

Add small handful of blueberries & half a banana

Add one scoop protein powder (whatever flavour you like)

(There’s loads of protein powders out there – I use unflavoured, organic whey protein, buy the best quality you can).

Add 2 tablespoons of full fat greek youghurt

Add 1 tablespoon organic milled flaxseed (fantastic for great looking skin)

Shake in a big sprinkle of ground cinammon

Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup skimmed milk- or whatever milk you fancy-adding more milk will make the shake thinner

BLITZ & drink..Feel smug! (You can use half a scoop of protein powder if one scoop fills you up too much).

For extra quickness and to make it really cold, I keep frozen strawberries,raspberries & blueberries- as well as bananas in the freezer.

If you’re buying frozen fruit just check the label to see that it’s unsweetened.

I don’t know about your house- but in mine there’s always loads of bananas lying around or none at all.

When they’re lying there getting browner (and nobody wants to eat them) unpeel them, break them in half and chuck them in a bag in your freezer.

It’s win win- you get a lovely ,cold shake and use up your fruit without throwing it out!
