Hi I’m Claire & have my very own Pilates Studio Exeter.
I’m a qualified Pilates instructor (completing extra training in Pilates for Menopause & Pelvic Floor Health), Menopause specialist coach, Nutrition coach & personal trainer.
I’m passionate about helping people feel fitter, healthier & move better, all whilst having fun.
My Pilates studio Exeter is a great, private space where you can work 1-1 with me on the mat, or on the reformer.
We can work on improving your body, it’s individual attention just for you, so we can focus on your goals.
Maybe you want to work on your posture, improve your strength &/or tone up in your 1-1 sessions in my Pilates Studio Exeter ?
Pilates helps your spine & joints by correcting any muscular imbalances that you may have due to poor posture , poor movement patterns, misuse of muscles and is great for releasing tension in the body.
You will get stronger all over your body, but perhaps more importantly for most ladies you will get stronger in your upper body. A lot of ladies are weak in their upper bodies, so it’s really important to work on this & try to correct this.
After all ladies, we don’t want to be bent over nearly double as we get older. And investing in ourselves & our health at a younger age can boost our health & wellness when we start & for long term.
And it’s never too late to start, no matter what your age, size or shape , you & your body will reap the benefits.
Alot of ladies (& men) say to me ‘I’m weak – I want to improve my core.’
Pilates exercises train you to use the deep core muscles – the abdominals, back & pelvic floor, which supports your posture & brings you into alignment so you move better, correctly & efficiently.
And working with me in my Pilates studio Exeter can give you many other benefits as well – check them out here.
If you’re in perimenopause, Menopause or post Menopause, working out with resistance can help to preserve your muscle mass & improve it.
As well as maintaining your bone density & adding to it – both this & your muscle mass are essential to keep you moving, doing everyday tasks & being able to age more gracefully.
If you’re working out on the mat or reformer in my Pilates Studio Exeter, we use resistance. Of course your body weight is one form of resistance, but we can add to it.
The reformer uses springs, pulleys & we can add in small equipment to help your movement, or give you greater focus.
On the mat, there’s lots of small equipment we can use, which will provide resistance, variety, more focus & is fun. And small equipment can make exercises harder or easier, depending on what your body needs.
Get in touch if you’d like to start working with me in my Pilates Studio Exeter. I have limited availabiity, so don’t put it off for too long if you want ‘start moving & getting all the lovely benefits of Pilates.’
If you just can’t find time to attend my Pilates Studio Exeter for your 1-1 sessions, you can work with me online, attend one of classes or ‘see me’ in my ladies club.
Claire x
