Hi, my name is Claire & I teach Pilates Exeter. My classes are suitable for everyone as I give different levels, so if you are a beginner & or totally new to Pilates, don’t worry.
Come & have fun with my Pilates Exeter classses.
All classes are one hour in length & I use flexible booking, so you can book 1, 2 or as many classes as you like. Many of my ladies that come to class work at different times, or are shift workers, so flexible booking is ideal for them. To get the best possible benefits from class consistency is key, so you want to try to come weekly, as a minimum.
I’m passionate about helping people get fitter & stronger and move better, all whilst having fun.
Pilates can benefit you whatever age, size or shape you are.
It’s a great low intensity, whole body workout.
And perhaps more importantly, in the ever increasing busy lives that we lead, in my Pilates Exeter classes , it’s that hour that’s decicated to you – just for you.
You concentrate on your body & actually ‘feel’ the movements, you forget about everthing else and don’t even notice what anybody else in the class is doing.
It’s giving you that hour of mindfulness and ladies often go away feeling calmer, more energised & relaxed. Checkout what they say here (just scroll to the bottom of the page).
If you’re 40 plus (in peri menopause, menopause or post menopause) doing the right sort of exercises is so important for keeping & improving your bone density, as well as preserving your muscle mass & getting stronger.
This will not only benefit how your body looks, but it’s function & ability to do ‘everyday essential tasks’ (like lifting, carrying, balancing, preventing accidents & falls, the list goes on).
As well as making you feel great of course.
And Pilates can help you with this through the use of your bodyweight, as well as using all the lovely small equipment, that we use in my Pilates Exeter classes.
And you can choose your level, which is so important, as you want to challenge your body, in a good way !
My Pilates Exeter classes are held at the lovely Parklife Hub, Whipton Lane , Heavitree EX1 3DN.
Here’s the great space for my Pilates Exeter classes, you look out onto the park, so it feels like you’re a part of it all
And if you want to find out a little bit more about me – have a look here.
And if you’re not sure about the differences between Pilates & yoga, this should give you a little help. Though I’m no expert on yoga.

Look forward to meeting you soon.
